Given 𝑆 = {√5, −3, 3 , 𝜋, √4, √−11}, . List the following set below:

(i) Integers.

(b) Let 𝑥 = −3, 𝑦 = 4 and 𝑧 = −5. Evaluate the expression below:

(c) Solve the following system of linear equations:


𝑥 + 2𝑦 = 8,
6𝑥 − 8𝑦 = 18.

(d) Factorize the following polynomials completely:

(a) Divide 12𝑦 2 + 10𝑦 − 4 by 2𝑦 − 1 using long division. Assume no divisor is 0.

(b) Rationalize the denominator of the following expression. The variables represent positive

(i) On a graph paper, construct and label the feasible region, R, that satisfies the above
constraints.
