நடே்ேபடுகின் றது. ைாவட்ட ைற் றுை் ைாநில அளாவிலான
தபாட்டிகமள நடே்தி ைாநிலே்மேப் பிரதிநிதிக்குை்
ைாணவர்கமளே் தேர்வு மசய் யுை் ோர்மீக மபாறுப்பிமன சிலாங் கூர்
ைாநில ேமலமையாசிரியர் ைன் றை் மகாண்டிருக்கிறது.
ைாணகளுக்கு அதிகைான வாய் ப்பு வழங் குை் தநாக்கே்தில் தேசிய
அளவில் நடே்ேப் படாே ஒரு சில தபாட்டிகமள ைாவட்ட ைற் றுை்
ைாநில அளவில் நடே்துவேற் கு ைன் றை் முடிமவடுே்துள் ளது.

முடியுை் .

3.2 ைாவட்ட அளவில் ஒவ் மவாரு தபாட்டியிலுை் முதல் இரண்டு

நினலகளில் மவற் றி மபறுை் ைாணவர்கள் ைாநில அளவில்
தபாட்டியிடே் ேகுதி மபறுவர்.

3.3 நீ திபதிகளின் தீர்ப்தப இறுதியானது.

நைது இலக்கியங் களில் ேனிே்துவைானது ஐயன் திருவள் ளுவரின்

திருக்குறள் . அேமன நை் ைாணவர்களுை் ஓதி உணர தவண்டுை் .
தைலுை் ைாணவர்களுக்கு அதிகைான வாய் ப்பு வழங் குை்
தநாக்கே்தில் இப் தபாட்டி ைாவட்ட ைற் றுை் ைாநில அளவில்
நமடமபற இருக்கிறது

2.0 பபொட்டி விதிமுனறகள்

2.1 இப்தபாட்டியில் ேமிழ் ப்பள் ளியில் படிநிமல ஒன் றில் (ஆண்டு 1

முேல் ஆண்டு 3 வமர) பயிலுை் ைாணவர்கள் ைட்டுதை கலந்து
மகாள் ள இயலுை் .

2.2 ைாவட்ட அளவில் ேகுதி மபறுை் இரு ொணவர்கள் ைாநில

அளவிலான தபாட்டிக்குே் ேகுதி மபறுவார்கள்

2.3 ேமிழ் மைாழி பாடே்திட்டே் ேர ஆவணே்திலுள் ள (ஆண்டு 1 முேல்

ஆண்டு 6 வமர) 30 திருக்குறள் கனளயு ் அேன் மபாருமளயுை்
ைனனை் மசய் ய தவண்டுை் .

2.4 தபாட்டியாளர் 5 திருக்குறள் கமளக் குலுக்கள் முமறயில்

தேர்ந்மேடுப்பர்.

2.5 தபாட்டியாளர் நீ திபதியால் மைாழியப்படுை் முதல் சீர் அல் லது

கனட சீனரக் மகாண்டு ஐந்து திருக்குறள் கமளயுை் பமடே்ேல்
தவண்டுை் .

 2.6 தபாட்டியாளர் தேர்ந்மேடுே்ே திருக்குறளில் , ஐந் தில் மூை்று
திருக்குறள் கள் நீ திபதியால் ைறுதேர்வு மசய் யப்பட்டு, அேன்
மபாருமளப் தபாட்டியாளர்கள் ஒப்புவிக்க தவண்டுை் .

1.1 மசாற் குவியல் தபாட்டியானது முேல் முமறயாக ைாவட்ட

ைற் றுை் ைாநில அளவில் அறிமுகை் காண்கிறது. ைாறிவருை்
காலச் சூழலில் ைாணவர்களுக்கு புதிய அனுபவே்மே
தகாடுக்குை் தநாக்கில் இது அறிமுகை் மசய் யப்படுகிறது.
ைாணவர்களுக்கு அதிகைான வாய் ப்பு வழங் குை் தநாக்கே்தில்
இப் தபாட்டி ைாவட்ட ைற் றுை் ைாநில அளவில் நமடமபற
இருக்கிறது.

2.0 பபொட்டி விதிமுனறகள்

2.1 இப்தபாட்டியில் ேமிழ் ப்பள் ளியில் படிநிமல ஒன் றில் (ஆண்டு 1
முேல் ஆண்டு 3 வமர) பயிலுை் ைாணவர்கள் ைட்டுதை கலந்து
மகாள் ள இயலுை்

2.2 ைாவட்ட அளவில் ேகுதி மபறுை் இரு ொணவர்கள் ைாநில

அளவிலான தபாட்டிக்குே் ேகுதி மபறுவார்கள் .

3.0 பபொட்டியிை் விவரங் கள்

3.1 மசாற் குவியல் தபாட்டி தநர்முகைாக நமடமபறுை் .

3.2 படிநிமல ஒன் று ேமிழ் ப் பாடப்புே்ேகே்தில் இருந்து

மசாற் பேங் கள் தேர்வு மசய் யப்படுை் .

3.3 மசாற் குவியலில் ைமறந்திருக்குை் 25 மசாற் பேங் கமள

அமடயாளை் கண்டு எழுே தவண்டுை் .

4.0 பபொட்டியிை் முனறன

4.1 மகாடுக்கப்படுை் 10 நிமிடங் களில் மசாற் பேங் கமள

அமடயாளை் கண்டு எழுே தவண்டுை் .

4.2 தபாட்டியாளர்கள் எவ் விே குறிப்புகமளதயா

புே்ேகங் கமளதயா பார்க்கக்கூடாது.

5.0 திப் பீட்டு ் ம யல் முனற

5.1 மசாற் குவியல் தபாட்டியில் அதிகைான மசாற் கமள

அமடயாளை் காணுை் ைாணவர்கள் மவற் றியாளர்களாகே்
தேர்வு மசய் யப்படுவர்.

5.2 ைதிப்மபண்கள் சைைாக இருந்ோல் தநரப்பயன் பாட்டின்

கூறுகள் அடிபமடயில் மவற் றியாளர்கள்
தீர்ைானிக்கப்படுவார்கள் .

STORYTELLING COMPETITION

1.0 INTRODUCTION

Storytelling is an effective teaching and learning activity to help improve the standard of
English among pupils. The interactive art of storytelling involves revealing the details of
a story while provoking the imagination of the audience. Stories are told as a means of
entertainment, cultural preservation or instilling moral values.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

2.1 To enhance pupils’ confidence in using English.

2.2 To give pupils the opportunity to use English in an interesting, authentic

and creative manner.

2.3 To enhance and improve listening and speaking skills.

3.0 RULES AND REGULATIONS

3.1 The competition is open to all Year 1 to Year 3 pupils from all Tamil
schools. Only Two contestant will represent his / her district at the state
level.

3.2 contestants are to observe the following rules:

3.2.1 Stories presented can be authentic, adapted or originally written.

 3.2.2 Stories presented must not touch on sensitive issues such as race,
religion, stereotyping, politics, etc.

3.2.3 Stories must be thematically educational.

3.2.4 Props, backdrops and sound effects are not allowed. Any use of
these will allow for disqualification by the judges.

3.4.5 Time allocated to present the story is 4 to 5 minutes.

4.0 ADJUDICATION

4.1 The competition at the district and state level will be judged by a judge,
appointed by MGBT NS

4.2 Points will be allocated according to the scoresheet.

4.3 The decision of the judges is final. No appeal is allowed.

4.4 Individual marks will not be disclosed.

6.0 EXCEPTION

All matters not stated in the concept paper or any exclusion to the rules and all other
unexpected matters and issues on interpretation will be decided by the organising
committee of the competition.

PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION
(தமிழ் ப் பள் ளி படிநினல 2)

1.0 INTRODUCTION

Public speaking is an essential part of most jobs and at some point, all of us will have to
give a speech in public to inform, to persuade or to inspire others. Through public
speaking competitions, it is hoped that awareness is created among pupils on the
importance of the English language.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

2.1 To encourage the development of oral communication skills among

students.

2.2 To promote the use of the English language.

3.0 ELIGIBILITY

3.2 This competition is open to Year 4 to Year 6 SJKT pupils.

4.0 COMPETITION RULES

4.1 The competition is divided into two sections, as follows;

Section 1 : Prepared Speech – any topic

Section 2 : Spontaneous Speech (for state and national levels only)

4.2 Section 1 (Prepared Speech), contestants are to observe the following rules:

4.2.1 Contestants will deliver a prepared speech on a topic of

their choice for 4 to 5 minutes.

 4.3 For Section 2 (Spontaneous Speech), contestants are to observe the

following rules:

4.3.1 Each contestant must present their spontaneous speech.

4.3.2 Contestants are given a topic 3 minutes before they are due to
present the speech.

4.3.3 All contestants speak on the same topic.

4.3.4 The time allocated for the spontaneous speech is 3 minutes.

4.3.5 A warning bell will be sounded at the 2nd minute and a final
bell at the 3rd minute. Marks will be deducted thereafter.

7.0 EXCEPTION

All matters not stated in the concept paper or any exclusion to the rules and all other
unexpected matters and issues on interpretation will be decided by the organising
committee of the competition.
