Supplementary Pronunciation Lessons

For the Teacher

The following activities are intended to supplement the lessons in the Student’s Book
by providing more extensive information and practice about English pronunciation.
Stress, intonation patterns, and the linking of sounds are graphically shown in both the
examples and in the exercises to facilitate learning.

Each of these lessons is designed to be covered in one class period.

Below are the target pronunciation topics in the Supplementary Pronunciation Lessons.
