SYNOPSIS OF THE PROJECT

TITLE-Gym management system(For gym staff as-well as customers)

INTRODUCTION-
In many Gyms, the payment receipts are in paper format. So, it is difficult for both gym
members to keep all the paper receipts safely and for to gym trainer to keep reminding them
of the fee receipts. Sometimes it creates trouble when members lost their receipts. The other
problem that can be faced by a gym owner is that if he/she wants to inform any message
related to working or non-working days of the gym, manually sending message become
difficult. If there is an online application available these problems can be solved.
So, I am developing a web application to overcome some of these issues. So, this project can
be helpful for both gym owners as well as for gym members. In this application, all receipts
are stored in a digital format, so there are no issues of losing any confidential receipts. This
application will also notify the user and the gym members about their fees and notifies the
gym owner about the payment application in the future can be elaborated by providing a
supplement store, diet information, personal training, etc.
CURRENT SYSTEM-
Currently no other software is being used as the gym is in development and the application is
going to be made from scratch.
The application will work on computer & laptops.

PROBLEMS IN CURRENT SYSTEM-


1.The gym uses manual labour. The existing method requires a lot of paperwork, which
makes it time-consuming and expensive.
2.The existing system does not facilitate good member communication because the gym
manager is in charge of all data management.
3.Customers don't have full access to the fitness centre, and only gym management is given
access to everything.

PROPOSED SYSTEM-(WEB APPLICATION)


 The purpose of this Gym Management System function is to help the user add a
member to the gym. The member's name, birth date, and contact information must be
added by the user.
 Additionally, it keeps track of the member's height, weight, and phone numbers. The
date of admission must be included. The option to determine whether the member is a
new or current member is also available.
 Any Windows operating system can run this system.
 The suggested system is extremely safe because it requires a username and password
for login that are unique for each department, giving each department a separate
perspective on the customers' information.

Backend-React js, Node js, Mongo db.
Applications-Visual Studio, Studio 3t, Internet Browser.

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS-
Operating System-Windows 10 or higher.
Processor-1.6 Ghz or Faster Processor.
Ram- Minimum 4 gb of Ram required.
Disk Space-10 Gb space required
