Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih

Long time ago, there was a village which far away from civilization. It’s name was
Onion Village. There lived a beautiful and lovely girl whose name was Bawang Putih. She
lived happily with his mother even though she didn’t have a father. One day, a man came to
her mother to ask her mother to be his wife. Before she accepted it, she had to ask her
daughter’s agreement.

Mother : Bawang Putih...., Where are you? Please come here!

White : Wait for a while mom! I am making up in my room

White : Ok mom, what’s happens? Eh who is that mom?
Mother : My daughter, this is candidate of your father’s

Putih’s mother got chronic illness and Bawang Putih worried about her mother’s situation.

cook by myself
Father : Bawang putih, come here.
White (she comes with a broom)

Father : cook delicious fried rice for your sister!
White : Father I can’t father, I have bigger fish to fry, I must clean our house. I’m
tired dad.
Red : Hem...you have just done a few things, but you have complained cook fried
rice now!

There was an old man sitting casually there. Bawang Putih decided to ask him
about Bawang Merah’s clothes.

here?
Grandpa : Yeah! I know it. If you want to know where a red clothes is, you must help me
first.
White : What can I do for you?

Grandpa : You must help me fetching the water and look for some firewood.

white : Okay, Grandfather.

After Bawang Putih had helped The Grandfather, she got Bawang Merah’s
clothes back. Not only that, the grandfather gave him a small pumpkin as well.
After that, Bawang Putih went home and got angry from his father.
father : Why are you going home late? Did you forget that you must cook a lunch?

red : Yeah! Because of you. I had to cook the lunch and it broke my beautiful nail.
Where have you been?
Then Bawang Putih told them everything that happened and how she got the
small pumpkin. The Father remained angry and slammed the small pumpkin. To
their surprise, there are a lot of jewel in the small pumpkin. Then the father
decided to tell Bawang Merah doing like what Bawah Putih did next day.
Bawang Merah went to river and did what Bwang Putih did. After a few
minute, she saw the hut and the old man. Bawang Merah did what The grand
father wanted lazily.
Red : Old man, I have done what you wanted. Where is my reward?

Grandpa : Ok! Ok! Be patient, beautiful girl! Grandfather have two pumpkins. There are
small and big pumpkin. What do you want?
Red : I absolutely choose the bigger one, old man.

Bawang Merah went home happily after she choose the big pumpkin. In the
house, the father welcome Bawang Merah with joy.
Red : Fatheeeer! I am home! Where are you?

Father : I am here, my apple! Oh Dear! That is bigger than Bawang Putih’s. We must
be rich.
Without cutting the chase, they split the big pumpkin. For their surprise, the
precious big pumpkin was full of snakes, scorpions and other poisonous
animals. And the animals surrounded and bit the father and Bawang Merah. In
the end, they was dead. And what happened Bawang Putih? You can know it
