ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Alhamdulillah, firstly I want to pray and praise to The Almighty

Allah subhanahu wa ta’alaa for blessing and mercy. I can finish my
thesis , alsoo greet and pray to my beloved prophet Muhammad SAW
who had brought me to the path of light and left the darkness in this life.
Without his guidance, I will be lost and don’t have many chances to do
good things in life. In the process of making this thesis, I gain a lot of
supports and helps from my family, colleagues, my mentors, and many
things that cannot I mentioned all. Their precious help is the important
aspect that brought me to finish and conquer the obstacle that I have in
my final year in Universitas Negeri Malang.

My deepest appreciation goes to my beloved parents, my late

father Puji Purnawan and my mother Mrs. Elly Maria Ulfa, who
constantly support for teaching me the invaluable principles,
perseverance, along with problem-solving skills that have helped me
develop a strong stress resistance and independence, so give me a
reason to go through this journey, especially in finishing my thesis. Also,
I want to extend my thanks to my sisters Salma Hafizha Urfa and Rania
Naya Urfa, who always give me support and encouragement. Most of all,
I would like to thank my supervisors, Mrs. Yusnita Febrianti and Mrs.
Ira Maria Fran Lumbanbatu, for their guidance, support,
encouragement, and taught a lot of things during my bachelor's degree.
Their expertise had a significant impact, both directly and indirectly, on
the approaches I used and the outcomes I obtained on my
undergraduate thesis.

It’s a such priviledge for me to have a chance to study in the

Englsh Department at Universitas Negeri Malang. would like to express
my appreciation to the Faculty of Letters for providing me the
opportunity to pursue my education at the Department of Sastra,
Universitas Negeri Malang. I am also indebted to my best mates in
college. Dedhi Lugita Hadi Wijaya and Moch. Ekky Syahruddin, who
helped me a lot of times as I fixed my footing in all of this process. Out of
many people in my life, they’re persons in my life who are fully
conscious of the challenges that I have dealt with in these tough times.
My thesis has benefited much from their unconditional support and
wisdom, as well as her unwavering encouragement for me to succeed.
Ultimately, I would like to take this opportunity to express endless
gratitude for my supportive family. I owe respect and thank you, my
late uncle Slamet Hanafi and my lover Cynara Salma Nariswari for
demonstrating how much kindness and accountability can go a long
way. I also want to thank my close friends especially Fadil and Sogol
who have inspired me with their hard work, politeness, and for
convincing me that despite the struggles, it's always worth the effort to
