My country’s name is Bangladesh. It is situated in eastern South Asia and is
bordered by the Bay of Bengal in the south, India, and Myanmar to the east,
and just India to the west. Its general area is 147,570 square kilometers,
including waterways. It achieved independence after a brutal liberation fight.
Approximately three million men and women gave their lives for the cause of
independence. After attaining independence, the newborn nation went through
many difficult times and challenges. However, it rises nicely. Bangladesh is now
one of the greatest places to live in South Asia. There are so many beautiful
places to see in our nation.

Bangladesh is a tiny nation. However, it has a huge population. This little

country is populated by around 120 million people. Here, the population density
is high. About 800 people reside in a square kilometer. Bangladesh is
predominantly an agricultural nation, with the majority of its population being
farmers. However, it remains a very beautiful and peaceful nation. People in
Bangladesh are exceedingly kind to one another.

It is one of the world’s most beautiful nations, with its lush green landscapes
and plenty of trees and flora. Cox’s Bazaar is the longest sea beach in the
world. The Sundarban is one of the world’s largest mangrove forests and a
tremendous source of beauty. There you may locate Royal Bengal Tiger. I love

The name of our country is the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It is one of the
most beautiful countries in the world. Our country was a part of Pakistan before
1971. Then we freed our country and achieved victory after nine month’s
liberation war. 3 million people sacrificed their lives in the liberation war in
1971. Our independence day is 26th March and Victory day is 16th December.
The national language of our country is Bangla. It is also a matter of great pride
for us that we are the only nation that sacrificed their lives for the sake of their
mother tongue on 21st February of 1952. In order to show respect to them,
UNESCO has declared 21st February as International Mother Language Day. The
name of the capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka. It is the busiest and populated city
in our country. The total population is 16 crore. The total area of our country is
1,47,570 square km. Our country is a river-oriented country. The main rivers of
our country are Padma, Jamuna, Meghna. But due to pollution and river
pollution, all of these rivers have shrunk. People of all religions live peacefully in
this country but most of them are Muslim. The famous places for tourist’s visit
to our country are Sundarban, Cox’sBazar, St Martin, Kuakata. Sundarban is the
 largest Mangrove forest in the world. Cox’s Bazar has the longest sea beach.
The main occasion that people celebrate is Eid Ul Fitr, Eid Ul Adha, Pahela
Baishakh, etc. Bangladesh is a developing country. The economics of this
country is mainly based on agriculture. The main crops that this country
produces are rice, jute, tea, fruit, etc. The country also earns a large amount of
foreign remittance by exporting RMG and Manpower. The main food that the
inhabitant of this country eat is rice and fish. Hilsha is the national fish and
Doyel is the national bird of our country. The national beast of the country is the
Royal Bengal Tiger. The national bird of our country is Magpie and the national
flower is Water Lily. Hadudu is the national game of our country but Cricket is
the most popular game. People of this country know how to live happily and
peacefully within poverty and national hazards.

Bangladesh is a small country with a huge population. The total area of
Bangladesh is 147,570 square kilometers but the total population is more than
164 million. Still, it is a green and naturally beautiful country. Our country is
growing economically and it is doing well in export too.

We are the leader in world garments exporting right after china. Not only in the
economy, but we also good at sports too. Our cricket team is one of the top
seven teams in the world. Bangladesh has a very heart touching history behind.
In 1971 this country got independence from Pakistan after a nine months war.

Lots of people sacrificed their lives in that time. On 16 December the Pakistani
army surrendered and we got a new nation. That’s why we celebrate on 16
December as our Victory Day. Bangladesh is a very beautiful country with lots
of natural spots to see. I love my country a lot.
