Topic: Eidul Adha


Eid ul Adha is a three day celebration, which occurs on the 10th day of the
Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah For those who are not at the pilgrimage.

Eid is a happy time and the festival is celebrated in many different ways in
different countries.

Eid-ul-Adha is the celebration of sacrifice. It is a time of celebration, a time to


visit family and friends and thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon
us.

Morning prayer performed in congregation, called the Eid prayer.

On the first morning of Eid al-Adha, Muslims around the world attend Eid prayer
at their local mosques.

Prayers are followed by visits with family and friends, and the exchange of
greetings and gifts.

Everyone wears new clothes in bright colours. Every Muslim loves the day of Eid.
Because It is a day of happiness and joy.

During the celebration of Eid al-Adha, Muslims commemorate and remember


Ibrahim's trials, by themselves slaughtering an animal such as a sheep, camel, or
goat.
Lastly we solicit Allah to give us longevity and good deeds and make us those
who make use of the utility of the festivals since the festival are precious near
Allah.
