Instructions: Answer ALL FIFTY (50) questions in the following sections:


Section 1 – Quiz (40 marks): answer all FORTY (40) questions (multiple choice and short
answer questions). Each question has equal value (1 mark).
Section 2 – Artefact Description (20 marks): describe the TWO (2) artefacts pictured in this
exam paper (max. 300 words per description). Each question has equal value (10 marks).
Section 3 - Short questions (40 marks): provide a brief answer to EIGHT (8) questions
(maximum of 5 lines per answer). Each question has equal value (5 marks each).

• Work out how long you can spend on each question and do not exceed that time.
• Read the requirements carefully. Take a few moments to think what the requirements are asking and
how you are going to answer them.
• You should read through the paper and plan the order in which you will tackle the questions. Always
start with the one you feel most confident about and take time to choose the questions you will answer
later.
• The time for submission of answers to the examination paper will be strictly enforced.
• All answers to the examination paper must be submitted electronically using the Final Exam
Answer Booklet (Word format) that you have downloaded with this exam paper by the time
stated above by using the link on the iLearn unit page entitled AHIS1300 Final Exam Submission.
• Do not change the font or adjust margins and line spacing
• Answers to the examination questions must be written in the order in which the questions appear
in the examination paper.
• All answers should be contained in one answer file. Do not create a separate answer file for each
question.
• Please be sure to upload the correct file to Turnitin before the due time. Once you submit the file you
will not be able to upload a different file.
• Computer errors or malfunctions will not be accepted as a basis for lateness.
• Any student who does not submit answers to the final examination, as the case may be on time or at
all, will receive a zero mark for this assessment.
