Prepare Daily Program
Weekly Programs shall be given to the site engineer after it is finalized with client in weekly meeting. Based
on this weekly program site engineers will prepare their daily program.
Resource Planning
Site Engineer knows what all tasks he has to complete in the following week. Every day before leaving site he
will fill in DPR his plan for tomorrow. He will also know the resources required for completing the planned
activities and ensure in advance that all the resources are in place. If he or the concerned subcontractor
under him is going to require any material from store for completing any activity the next day, site engineer
has to ensure that the requisition slip is filled on t he previous day and submitted in stores so that he gets
the material readily available the next day.

Execution
Layout & Drawings
Receive VFC drawings
Drawings shall be obtained from either QS or QC by t he site Engineer. Site Engineer shall study the drawings
before execution. Incase he has any doubts he will discuss them with the Senior Engineer and then with QS.
If any clarification is required it would be obtained by proper correspondence through QS. Even if it is
cleared directly at site by the client’s representative it could be regularized by doing proper correspondence.
Resource Management
Resources required by the Site Engineer for the execution of the next day’s activity shall be filled in the
requisition slip and sent to stores through proper channel.

Execution
In case of Reinforced cement concrete and / or the works which requires approval of the client / client's
representative for further progress of work, RFI (Request for inspection) shall be raised to inform client
about inspection and approval of work done.

End of the day, summary of day's work will be entered into the DPR and hand it over to the Project's Planning
Engineer for reporting purpose.
Hindrance
Recording Hindrance
Any hindrance that is obstructing to the progress of work shall be recorded in the daily progress report and
solution if any shall also be suggested.
Extra Items
Extra item if any identified by site engineers shall be notified to QS.
Joint measurement
Joint Measurement
Incase any joint measurement has to be taken at site for including variations in client bill it will be taken in
the presence of site engineer and client’s representative and both of them have to sign the document along
with date and initials.
Site Engineer has to coordinate for the same.
Client Billing
Variations
Note Variations / instructions given by client at site
Any instruction given by client on site shall be noted properly in site instruction book and signatures of
client’s representative shall be taken on it with his initials and date.
This site instruction book shall be sent to QS on a particular date for including the variations in client bill.
Joint Measurement
Incase any joint measurement has to be taken at site for including variations in client bill it will be taken in
the presence of site engineer and client’s representative and both of them have to sign the document along
with date and initials. Site Engineer has to coordinate for the same.
