Job Description

QA/QC ENGINEER

Project Contract & Specification:

 Ensuring development of PQP and QIP by studying contract & specification thoroughly to meet client's
expectation/requirements comprehensively.
Recourse Management

 Assuring deployment of human resources and Inspection & Testing equipment’s as per project budget
and utilize them to get time tested results.
Progress and Budgetary Control:

 Responsible to monitor and control activities having critical success factors for quality of deliverables
across the Business to ensure project In-charge QA&QC executes his functional responsibilities within
the budgetary provisions and in case of any deviation due to any reason get it raised through PM to
utilize the budget in right way.
Quality Planning and Implementation:

 Ensuring the overall execution of the Quality inspection Plan at Projects through a well-managed
project QA/QC team.
 Responsible for ensuring that work methods are in line with Quality Inspection Plans and are well
understood by concerned supervisors, places emphasis and concentration on quality cost reduction
opportunities through close coordination with project QA/QC team by site visits.
Receiving Inspection:

 Responsible for providing assistance to the Business for incoming material inspections as and when
required.
Documents and Data Control:

 Responsible for ensuring that controlled copies of all relevant codes and/or specifications are
available at Project to avoid any misinformation
 Ensuring that he and other functionaries, in accordance with Master Lists of Documents,
hold only current documents to avoid the mishandling.
Subcontractors / Suppliers Qualification:

 Responsible for providing assistance to Commercial/Subcontracting at head office for technical


evaluation as policies/instructions per laid down of subcontractors/suppliers.
Coordination With Customer:

 Ensuring that In-charge QA&QC Project answers all quality related queries of the Client to increase
satisfaction.
Reporting the Cost of Quality and customer Feedback:

 Assuring proper implementation of cost of quality and customer feedback procedures/method


statement at sites for on time improvements where required.
Control of Non-conforming Products:

 Responsible to review and monitor all internal & external NCRs logs received from sites for timely
closure of all open NCRs logs.
 Responsible for closely monitoring of rate of rejection and rework cost to analyze the negativity.
