IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION
IN FOUNDATION OF HUMAN BEING
If we assess the outstanding and exceptional
thinking quality of human being on which the
superiority and supremacy or the magnificent
building of humanity is established, leading to
contemplation and deliberation, is nothing but
education. Evidently, it is the education which
provides foundation and base to human thinking,
because without education and knowledge no one
can make meditation and contemplation. So
education is considered as the basic foundation in
this regard. It should be kept in mind that sheer
knowledge has been granted to angels and jinns
too along with human being, but knowledge of
angles is like inborn quality and intrinsic,
whatever knowledge they have been given by
Allah is enough for them as Allah has described it
in the holy Qur’an: “And He taught “Adam the
names” all of them, then presented them before
the angels, and said: “Tell Me their names, if you
are right”. They said, To You belongs all purity!

We have no knowledge except what You have
given us, Surely, You alone, are the All-knowing,
All-wise”, (Chapter, 2, v,31/32). Not only that
rather their nature has also been described in the
holy Qur’an, “They do not disobey Allah in what
He orders them, and do whatever they are ordered
to do”, (Chapter, 66, v, 6). On the other hand, jinns
are ordered to follow the shari’a which has been
revealed upon prophets and messengers among
human beings. Whereas, the quality of getting
education in forms of learning and teaching is a
special feature of human being by which he has
been bestowed with leading position among all
creatures in the world. It is a distinction of human
being that he learns, teaches and whatever ability
he has, he is able to convey it to others, and by
imparting education he brings up upcoming
generation and makes them obedient. In short,
reading and teaching is the main factor behind
human supremacy.
