❖ The office of the Provincial Engineer takes charge of all Provincial Engineering Office;
❖ Initiates, reviews and recommends changes on policies and objectives, plans and program techniques, procedures and practices in infrastructure development and public works in
general of the local government unit;
❖ Advise the governor on infrastructure, public works and other engineering matters;
❖ Administers, coordinates, supervises and controls the construction, maintenance and improvement of roads, bridges & other engineering & public works projects of the local government
unit;
❖ Exercise technical supervision over all engineering offices of the municipalities; and
❖ Exercise such powers & perform such other duties & functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT STAFF


QUALITY CONTROL SECTION
• Maintains the official records, documents of the office;
❖ Monitors and implements quality control measures, policies and specifications on infrastructure projects. • Assists the various divisions/sections in the administrative functions including secretarial, clerical,
