 背景
It is recommended that the PFI monitoring function of MPSIII power supply system be
disabled. This document can be used as a guide for implementing this work on site. Can
be done by the engineer or by the user.
A Brief instruction:

The dc bus monitoring component (PFI signal unit) is located behind the MPSIII power
supply, with a small green rectangular component. Its function is to monitor the power
supply output dc busbar row of +5, +15, -15 voltage, if the voltage value beyond the
predetermined range, output low level signal, dc busbar row of PFI signal to pull to low
level, reset all modules. Power Bus Monitoring Assemble

three input lines: red -+5VDC orange -+15VDC black - 15VDC white MCOM
common line. Connect to dc bus line
· one output line: connect to the PFI terminal of the dc bus line in yellow
B. Cancel the standard steps of PFI function
· weld a wire with a wire plug with a resistor value of 1k ohm and a power of 1w
with a length of about 13~15 cm at each end of the resistor. After welding, use a
heat-shrinkable sleeve for insulation protection. Refer to the following figure:

· remove the wiring harness with 5 wires from the Bus monitor from the power
supply Bus and insulate it. If necessary, remove it from the cabinet together with
the Bus monitor. The new cabinet assembly will no longer require the installation

of the Bus monitor and its wiring harness to the power supply Bus.

connect one end of the resistor with 1k ohm made in the first step above to the
PFI of the power supply bus and the other end to +5V to ensure the connection is
reliable. Check the voltage between PFI and MCOM when the power is on. The
voltage must be consistent with the voltage of +5V main power supply.

Notes:
· the connection wire with 1 k ohm resistor between 5VDC terminal and PFI
terminal should be made firmly and be connected to the two terminals reliably.
The resistor and the welding place of the wire should be in a straight line with the
resistor. Do not bend to avoid breaking.
· the above operation is recommended to be carried out during the power failure
of the cabinet to avoid the reset of the controller and output module caused by
the trigger of PFI.
