Dialogue
John :I’m trying to choose where to go for my next vacation. Do you have any suggestions?
Mia :It depends what you want to do. I like to get out of my comfort zone when I travel by going to a
far-off, exotic location and immersing myself in the local culture.
John :That does sound interesting. I’m looking to avoid the usual tourist hotspots and walk the road
less traveled. What do you think, Jill?
Jill : Well, to be honest, I prefer an easier vacation where everything is taken care of for me. You
know, like one of those all-inclusive packages?
John : Oh, you mean the ones where your flight, hotel, and everything is included?
Jill : Yes, I like those kinds of vacations because it’s important to be able to relax when you have
time away from work. I want a completely stress-free experience, away from the hustle and
bustle of the city.

Mia : But don’t you get bored?
Jill : Not at all. I relax by the pool and don’t think about work or stress for 7 days. It’s great!
John : That does sound appealing, but aren’t the hotels really crowded?
Jill : It depends when you go. If you go at an off-peak time, there are no crowds. If you go in the
middle of summer, it’s a different story though.
Mia : So, where are you going to go?
John : Well, I like the adventure of your idea, and I like the idea of Jill’s stress-free vacation too.
Mia : And…?
John : I think I’m going to charter a boat, which I’ve never done before, and sail out into the ocean.
I’m not going to talk to anybody for seven days, and I’m just going to relax and spend my nights
sleeping under the stars. What do you think?
Jill : John, I have to be honest: that sounds terrible.
John : Maybe for you! I’m going to book it later.
