ME: First of all thank you for allowing me to interview you.

CHAIRMAN: No worries, you’re welcome

ME: I will ask you three questions about BDRRM is that okay with you sir?

CHAIRMAN: Of course, let’s proceed

ME: What are your projects for risk reduction?

CHAIRMAN: We have the yearly tree planting activity, its purpose is to encourage our citizens to plant
tree to prevent soil erosion.

ME: What are your preparations before calamity?

CHAIRMAN: We have the distribution of relief goods three times a year for every family because we
know that calamity comes anytime that’s why we should prepare a lot of food for use to consume
during calamity. We also have medical equipments, materials and medicine that is used when medical
emergency comes, just like first aiding someone injured by the calamity.

ME: What are your actions or response after calamity?

CHAIRMAN: We, the Barangay officials distribute relief goods for everyone and financial assistance to
those who are really damaged by the calamity. We also conduct activities for children for them to be
relieved because the calamity really is traumatizing for them.
