Most people are aware of how important electricity is to daily life, both at
home and at work. Many of us may not give much thought to how much
our job and other activities depend on a dependable source of energy
because it has become such a common part of our everyday lives. We
don't give it the respect it deserves as a result. Since electricity cannot be
tasted, seen, heard, or scented, it presents a challenge. It is frequently
referred to be a "silent killer" since it is essentially invisible, and too
many people have learned this the hard way. (Neitzel,2015)

Students. The study will help the students to avoid any accident when
performing electrical tasks by knowing the safety practices of and proper
use of electrical tools.
Parents. The same as the teachers; the parents too will understand why
their adolescent must learn the safety and proper use of electrical tools.
As well as the parents provide the necessary guidance and consent to
their adloscent when performing electrical task.
School. The study will help school to provide a good condition tools for
the students to use when performing electrical task to prevent any
accidents is school.

This research covered the safety practices of electrical tools. The study
limited its coverage on the Grade 12 EIM students of Surigao Del Norte
National High School about 40 EIM students were use as sample in
conducting the survey. Each of the respondents are given the same
questionnaire to answer. And this study focuses on the current Grade
12 EIM students of Surigao Del Norte National High School of the
present school year 2022-2023.

very few research studies have shown that new advancement in this field
is small in possible. Electrical safety concerns are subject to preventive
care towards a careless malpractice on electrical live circuit. Hot line
workers and electricians are particularly vulnerable to this safety
concern because electrical injuries can be serious and even fatal.

Research Instrument
The made questionnaire were divided into two parts. Part 1 is what are
the profile of respondents in term of age and sex. The second part is
about the status of electrical tools in term of, availability, usability,
quality. The questionnaire will be validated by the experts for soundness
to give better results in gathering the data that will be used in this study.
After the validation of the questionnaire, it will undergo field testing to
the selected respondents not part of the main participants in this study.

Suggestions will be taken and the questionnaire will be revised.
Pilot testing was conducted to twenty plus (20+) in every section of EIM
student of Surigao del Norte National High School.

Agree
The data on age usage from table 3 indicates that respondents highly
agree with several items related to electrical tools and their safety
practices as EIM students. Among these, item number 1, "Use the right
electrical tool for the job," received the highest mean score of 3.85. It
was closely followed by item number 3, "Keep all tools in good
condition with regular maintenance," which obtained a mean score of
3.78. Additionally, item number 5, "Wear the proper personal
protective equipment," received a mean score of 3.75.
Other items, such as item number 2, "Inspect each tool for damage
before use," received a mean score of 3.65. Followed by item number 6
with a mean score of 3.63, "Never use a damaged tool. Take damaged
tools out of service immediately." Item number 4, "Operate tools
according to the manufacturer's instructions," obtained a mean score
of 3.60.
The data signifies that the respondents strongly agree with the
importance of electrical tools and their safety practices, as indicated by
the high mean scores and the qualitative descriptive rating of
"STRONGLY AGREE." This reflects the EIM students' awareness and
emphasis on the usability and safety of these tools.

Item number 5, "Store electric tools in a dry place when not in use,"
obtained a mean score of 3.58. Lastly, item number 2, "Never carry a
tool by the cord," received a mean score of 3.55. These scores indicate
a quantitative descriptive rating of "STRONGLY AGREE." The data
signifies that the respondents strongly agree with the safety precautions
associated with electrical tools and their safety practices as EIM
students.

AGE: Extracted from the same table, the data on electrical tools and
their safety practices among EIM students indicate the usability and
safety precautions in terms of age, with p-values of 0.437 and 0.543,
respectively. This suggests that the hypothesis is not significant, and
there is no significant difference between usability and safety precautions
based on age.
