Good afternoon.

I am called to undertake a Pledge of Commitment as the President of

Amulung National High School Faculty Association. And, I am very privilege to do this
undertaking for it reminds me of the Department’s calling which is the “Para sa Bata.
Para sa bayan”.
In an African proverb, it is said, “it takes a village to raise a child”. This means that aside
from the parents of our learners, we the faculty of Amulung National High School are
also called to guarantee the child’s general welfare and best interest.
As the president of the school faculty association, I therefore ask all our dedicated
teachers to please stand up.
We will altogether have our Pledge of Commitment. (follow/repeat after me)
PLEDGE OF COMMITMENT
I, (state your name), assure that my actions will be anchored on serving the public, and
on ensuring the health and safety of our learners,
I will approach this period of ‘new normal’ with patriotism, compassion and sensitivity,
so that the process of learning will not be a burden for parents, and our children.
I am committed to give my time and render my skills for the greater good of Amulung
national High School.
I am firmly committed to develop a comprehensive learning plan which will address
challenges through the necessary adjustments in the curriculum, alignment of learning
materials, and relevant support to the learners and parents.

I will be steadfast in delivering to the public only the truth and our selfless service, as we
shun misinformation and division.

I will not falter for the education of the learners of the Amulung National High School
learners.

Thank you colleagues. You may now be seated.

I ask all of you here present to share with us your pledges of commitment for basic
education, and let us inspire our fellow Filipinos to do the same.

Para sa bata, at para sa bayan.
