Overall Comments:
Siyol never fails to surprise me with her great English abilities. I am quite happy with her class
participation, and she completes her classwork consistently. She seems to really enjoy learning
English, and always brings with her a positive attitude to class every day. Her vocabulary skills are
good enough to understand most of the material. She seems quite shy and does not like to speak
much, so her speaking and pronunciation need a bit of work. She reads material in class very
enthusiastically and is not afraid to make mistakes. She can express her ideas through English
writing quite well, but her grammar needs a bit of work. She loves to incorporate all the new things
she learns from class into her English. Siyol does not seem intimidated by the task of learning
English. With this attitude, her English skills will continue to grow.
