During weekends or when he takes leave from tuition/school, he makes reels since he likes to do that
and post them on stories (insta) or share on whatsapp status.
Problems faced in daily life - Nothing as such. He loves his brother and loves helping him out.
Decision maker and budget decider- his brother decided the budget and brand was chosen randomly by him
because it was cheap. He himself has vivo.

Influence of any person on brand purchase - his friends kind of motivated him to buy a phone because they
used to play pubg. But not strong influence of his friends since he listens to his brother.

A phone should have good camera (for making reels), storage (for downloading games like pubg), RAM
(6-8gb)

groceries and stationery.

Brand consideration - he had no specific brand since he is not that interested. His father decides anything
for him based on the budget.
Influence of any person on brand purchase - his mama in this case. His friends have no influence since he
only listens to his parents .

His view on good brand - privacy , “lag nhi hona chahiye”, camera.

much listens and completes all the wishes of his children.

Brand consideration - he (Ankit) wanted an iphone but that was realistically not possible. He knew samsung,
Oppo were good brands. His father doesn’t have a lot of information regarding brands.
Influence of any person on brand purchase - retailers (mostly) and friends play an important role in
influencing. He usually takes recommendations from his friends and elder brother..
His view on good brand - for him expensive phones are good brands.

Decision maker and budget decider- his father usually takes all the decisions for the house. So his father
decided the budget for the current phone. He himself has oppo 53 phone.
Occupation - works in a house paint office - earns 10k
Total monthly income - 28.5k [mom works as a maid - 9k, Alinger earns - 9.5k]
Brand consideration - there was no pre decided brand in both of their minds. His father had oppo so they
only knew that brand. Earlier Alinger was using itel (which is not a touch phone).
Have heard about samsung but didn’t know if they should buy or not
Influence of any person on brand purchase - his father and retailer because the purchase totally depends on
price.

Decision maker and budget decider- since he is a grown up, his parents prefers taking decisions with him.
So all decisions related to anything are taken together.
Occupation - dad - ironing shop
Brand consideration - he knew about several brands through his friends and hoardings outside mobile
shops but he didn’t know which ones were below 10k so had to take retailer’s recommendation.
His parents are not much aware of brands.
Influence of any person on brand purchase - his friends play an important role since they are his important
source of information regarding anything. He also receives information from the society members for whom
he irons clothes.

Decision maker and budget decider- his father decides the budget. But usually the decisions are made
mutually. Only during emergencies, father takes the decision alone.
Occupation - dad also sweeper in a different place - forgot the name of society
Brand consideration - he knew about samsung but he knew it would be expensive and wouldn’t be available
for less than 10k. He knew he can find realme and nokia phones below 10k and was hoping to buy any one
of them but found vivo better than other two.
Influence of any person on brand purchase - retailer played an important role. His friends have expensive
phones likes samsung and Redmi since they earn more than him so usually doesn’t take any suggestion
seriously from them. He either relies on retailer or whatever ads he watches on tv and hoardings.
