Dear Students

I would like to present a brief overview of the fashion course.

Activities in the first week include visiting a fashion museum and drawing design
ideas, creating a design for a T-shirt, printing it and then attending a shopping trip to
review trending fashion. Week two will feature creating garments based on the stu-
dents’ drawings and showcasing these in a Friday night fashion show.

On the first day of the course, attendees will be introduced to Carla Rossi at 10
o’clock, the fashion teacher with 6-year experience. Classes start at 11 o’clock. Par-
ticipants should bring a drawing book, watercolour paints, a white T-shirt for print-
ing, and paper for notes.

The feedback from last year’s course was overwhelmingly positive, with three-
fourths of participants rating the course as ‘Very Good’ and the rest scoring it
‘Good’. Of those surveyed, 8 students found making clothes to be the most enjoyable
part of the course, while the remainder of the students were divided in their opinion:
some preferred the T-shirt printing while the other half enjoyed visiting the museum
and shops.
Kind regards
………….

Planning:

All the activities were comparatively more popular in 2015. 140 thousand took up in-
door rock climbing and 100 thousand people took up surfing in 2015.

In case of indoor surfing, waves are created artificially. People who love nature prefer
outdoor surfing.

Magazine writing

Indoor rock climbing, surfing, and caving became more popular in 2015 than they
had been in 2005. The number of participants in indoor climbing had grown from
nearly 60,000 to over 140,000 by 2015. Caving was much less popular than the other
two activities, with only around 35,000 participants in both 2005 and 2015, with no
notable increase in the latter year. More than 100,000 people took up surfing in 2015,
a 40,000-person increase over a decade.

Indoor surfing involves riding waves generated artificially in a swimming pool with a
heating facility built in. These waves can reach heights of up to 12 meters. However,
enthusiasts of outdoor activities and lovers of the unpredictable nature of natural
waves do prefer the latter.

Indoor climbing necessitates a rigorous, intensive training, physical fitness, and skills
in gymnastics, the aptitude to think quickly and address climbing issues as they ap-
pear, as well as wearing a helmet and relying on ropes for safety, especially for those
who lack experience.

Advantages of learning foreign languages: Brain becomes more capable, helpful for
learning things
Ways to learn: Listening to music, going abroad, the internet

School magazine article

Learning a foreign language boosts the brain's power, which is essential for students
to succeed in the future. Their strengthened capacities along with their improved
problem-solving ability will be advantageous in all future pursuits.
Students skilled at speaking multiple languages show improved skills in reasoning
and recall; consequently, students studying mathematics, music, or other languages
may gain an advantage by learning a new language, as research indicates these activi-
ties bolster cognitive function.

Learning a language through music is an effective method, as people tend to remem-

ber lyrics better than the phrases used in speeches or music. Going abroad to an area
where the desired language is commonly spoken is another great technique. Addition-
ally, the internet can be a valuable resource, as long as users are mindful of the accu-
racy of the sites they use.
