INTRODUCTION

SESSION 1 -

Jamia Nadwiyya Teches Park hosted an interactive and educational ICT

workshop on Tuesday, August 23, 2023 from 9:30 to 12:30. The
session's goal was to provide participants with fundamental digital skills
and information. The course sought to close the digital divide and
provide participants the skills they needed to successfully traverse the
digital world in light of the rapid growth of information and
communication technology (ICT).

SESSION 2 -

ICT Workshop 2 was conducted at Jamia Nadwiyya Administration

Block under the direction of Sharath Sir, lecturer at the training college.
Quzizz, Blogger and Scribd were topics that Sharath Sir covered. In the
lesson, the instructor showed us how to create a quiz on Quzizz, create
a blog on Blogger and post a blog to Scribd.

WHAT IS ICT ?

● ICT stands for "Information and Communications Technology." It

refers to the convergence of technologies related to information
processing, telecommunications, and computing. ICT
encompasses a wide range of technologies and tools used for the
collection, storage, processing, and communication of information.
This includes computer ,mobiles,various other devices, and
various digital technologies that enable the creation, sharing, and
management of information.

ChatGPT

● ChatGPT is a variant of the GPT (Generative Pre-trained

Transformer) language model developed by OpenAI. It's designed
specifically for generating human-like text and engaging in
conversations.

MIDJOURNEY

Midjourney AI is a versatile text-to-image service that enables you to

generate compelling images from textual descriptions. People utilize
Midjourney AI to create AI artwork for various scenarios including logos,
portraits, architecture, and more.

VR & AR

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are

immersive technologies that alter our perception of
reality by combining computer-generated elements with
the real world or creating entirely virtual environments

Quizziz

Quizizz is an online platform that allows educators and trainers to create

engaging and interactive quizzes, surveys, and polls. It's primarily used
in educational settings to assess students' understanding of various
topics and concepts. Participants can join quizzes through a code
provided by the creator, and they can answer questions at their own
pace.

Blogger

Blogger is a free online platform provided by Google that allows users to

create and manage their own blogs. A "Blogger site" refers to a blog that
is hosted on the Blogger platform. Users can create their own blog
websites using Blogger's tools and templates, and then publish posts
with content such as articles, images, videos, and more.

Scribd

Scribd is a digital platform that offers a subscription-based service for

accessing a wide range of content, including books, audiobooks,
magazines, documents, and more. Users can access and read content
from their devices, such as computers, tablets, and smartphones.

CONCLUSION

The workshop on ICT and technological innovations was a fantastic

success. The workshop succeeded in its goal of giving the attendees
useful skills, methodologies, and ideas. The participants were given an
introduction to ICT and its advancements at the start of the programme,
which helped them appreciate the significance of technology in today's
society.

The participants had practical experience with quizzes, blogs, and

scribes in the second session, which was centred on leveraging these
tools to improve teaching and learning. The presenters Sarath sir,
Shameer Khan Sir,his crew and others, were skilled and assured in their
ability to deliver the sessions.

The educators and trainers who were interested in integrating

technology into their teaching and learning practises made up the
workshop's target audience.
