Politics been the issue in my country since practicing the democracy.

It has been so difficult to

choose the leader that our current problem needs. It may not be the selection that is difficult, it may be the

perception and morals of its citizens. Let me discuss my reflection regarding the political self.

It is not the leader that changes the country, it is its citizens. We select what our lives will be for

the next 6 years. Do we have to take the 1-day happiness to 6 years od terror? Vote buying is not

something new in our whole country, starting from the smallest sector to the largest. Most of the

politicians took us for being a fool that is why they keep on doing what they want. The law forgives the

man with power. As a student who wants to engage in this issue regarding politics, I can say that it is not

the moral of my fellow citizens that affect their choices, it is the lack of knowledge and information and

the lies fed to them. Actions manifest result. The lesson encourages us that even not in the right age to

settle with this topic, it would be better starts participating in issues surrounding politics. It is also the job

of the people who knows something and share it to others. Education beats tyranny. Our heroes given us

the right to select or choice what is better of our country, wasting this opportunity is a disrespect to what

they were fighting to obtain.

Some of you reading this piece may feel nothing. It must be because you are living in a

comfortable life. Politics doesn’t concern because it doesn’t affect you. Life is more meaningful if you

care to what happens around you. The battle of our country is the battle of its citizens.
