MODERN STYLE

An interior design style known as modern is distinguished by a

monochromatic color scheme, clean lines, simplicity, natural materials,
and natural light. It especially alludes to a historical aesthetic movement
that emerged in the early to mid-20th century.
ART NOUVEAU STYLE

Nouveau art. Between 1890 and 1910, the Art Nouveau design
movement gained popularity in both the United States and Europe. It was
characterized by, among other things, floral motifs, curves, linear shapes,
and graceful silhouettes. In a variety of fields, including as furniture,
architecture, fine art, pottery, and glassware, the ornate aesthetic
predominated.
POST MODERN STYLE

Strong contrasts, vivid patterns, and rich colors are frequently found in
postmodern design. Designers never intended for their creations to be a
part of a passing craze; rather, they were meant to be flashy, transitory,
and faddish. Postmodernism, like these staircases, draws your attention
rather than blending in.
HI – TECH STYLE

The most recent fashion is high-tech. The last third of the 20th century saw
the emergence of the style in the interior design of both public and private
buildings. It was inspired by the layout of industrial buildings. The popularity
of science fiction in literature and film, as well as the advent of ultra-modern
materials, are the foundations of the high-tech style.
Characteristics of high-tech style:• minimalism & rationality • cold,
light colors • straight lines and angles • lack of ornaments and floral
motifs • prevalence of concrete, plastic, glass, metal
• the inclusion of pipes, valves, air ducts into the interior
