I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards:
The learners develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes required in
determining resistance value of a resistor through color coding.
B. Performance Standards:
The learners independently calculate the value of a resistor through
color coding.
C. Learning Competencies/Objectives:
Identify object or component to be measured.

Specific Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, 100% of the students will be able to
achieve 80% proficiency in the following:
a. Distinguish the correct value of each color band in finding
resistor's resistance value and tolerance
b. Find the resistor value using the color code chart
c. Participate actively in group work

Mechanics:
1. Analyze the 4 pictures what will represent the pictures in 1 Word.
2. Guess what the word they represent it.

“GROUP ACTIVITY”
Directions:
1. The class divided into 5 groups.
2. Each group will answer the following problem.
3. Write and explain the answer.
Instruction:
1. Transfer the colors of the resistor to the resistor drawing in left side
using crayons or other coloring materials.
2. Find the resistance value of a resistor with the following set of
colors to determine the range of the resistor’s resistance value and
its tolerance.
