THEMATICAL MASSDANCE COMPETITION

1. Participants should be a bona fide students of Malinao High School.

2. The competition is composed of 6 Grade level of Malinao High School (From Grade 7-Grade 12)

3. Each year level will be assigned each to the 6 purok of barangay Malinao through a draw lots that will happen on
August 15 2023 at Malinao Barangay Hall, and each year level will represent the name of purok they were assigned

4. The Participants are free to choose their own theme and concept.

5. Each group must have minimum of 50 and a maximum of 80 participants including the props men.

6. Props are allowed as long as it will not delay the performance and those that will harm the group performers.

6. Each should perform to any dance music with minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes excluding the
entrance and exit. Time starts when the music is heard, beyond this limit a total of 2 points will be deducted from the
total score.

7. Music may be in the form of electronic, remix, instruments etc.

9. Strictly no pyro-technique is allowed like fire, hazardous materials and the like that could harm the performers and
the audience, and that can disrupt the performance.

10. Hired choreographer or local is allowed.

11. Any team proven in violation of the mechanics and guidelines will automatically be disqualified from the event.

12. Decision of judges is final and non-appealable.

Special Award

-There will be a special award for the most discipline team during the parade.

a. Complete number of participants as declared 50%

b. Observe orderliness and proper alignment 30%

c. Making unnecessary noise (uttering bad words, shouting, etc.)20%
