Culminating Activity 2020

GUIDELINES and CRITERIA

1. This activity is open to all Grade 12-HUMSS students of Bais City National High
School.
2. Composition of performers must be according to their chosen career path.
3. The performance must be a cultural presentation with a theme suited to their
chosen careers.
4. Each group will be given 3 minutes to prepare/set up any props or equipment
needed on stage. And the presentation should last for a maximum of 20 minutes
and minimum of 15 minutes including entrance and exit. Time will start as soon
as the performers enter the stage and stop after the exit of the last person on
stage. One point will be deducted from the total score of the performers for every
excess minute in their presentation.
5. The use of pyrotechnic gadgets, a smoke or combustible materials as props is
not allowed.
6. The criteria for judging includes:
 Theme Relevance – 25%
This includes the choice of songs, costumes and the over-all concept.
 Performance – 45%
This involves staging, spacing formations, execution, showmanship,
projection, entertainment value and crowd appeal.
 Choreography and Originality – 30%
This includes dance and music arrangement/concept, incorporating
unique, original and creative moves.
TOTAL = 100%
7. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
