Company Policy on the Safety, Prevention, and Detection Protocols on the


Spread of Infectious Diseases, Epidemic, or Pandemic.
Policy

The Company recognizes the primacy of safeguarding the safety and health of workers against the spread
of infectious diseases, managing pandemics or epidemics, within Company premises, project sites, and in
the overall performance of works. To realize this goal, the use of and adherence to protocols, practices,
and strategies is necessary and a shared responsibility between Management and the workforce.

Objective

The policy is directed to ensure full compliance with government-mandated and Company-initiated
protocols for workplace safety and health to address the spread of infectious diseases, whether or not in
time of epidemic or pandemic,by any employee present in the Company premises, project sites, and in the
overall performance of works. This document shall guide the overall enforcement of the protocols and
harmonize this with the existing rules on Environment, Safety and Health.

Scope

This policy covers all Company employees engaged in their respective work-premises or in Company
property regarding the safety, prevention, and detection measures implemented by the Company to
address the spread of infectious diseases, epidemic, or pandemic, and the appropriate sanctions for non-
compliance. All employees shall refer to the provided Schedule of Protocols and Offenses for and follow
the recommended categories of penalties accordingly. The provisions of the Company Code of Discipline
shall be observed for the due process procedure; application of mitigating and aggravating circumstances;
and will also apply in a suppletory character for such matters that are practicable and convenient to the
enforcement of this policy.

A. COVID-19 VIRUS PROTOCOLS

The Company has based its policy on the common measures set forth in various government issuances,
including but not limited to DOLE-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 20-04, DPWH D.O. No. 35 s.
2020, and IATF Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of Community Quarantine in the Philippines,
as amended from time to time.

The following Schedule of Protocols are to be implemented by each and all sectors of the Company
accordingly:

1. The Employee must wear the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (e.g. face mask
and face shield) at all times, upon entering and exiting work premises and during work hours.

2. The Employee must observe physical distancing of at least 1-meter, and if possible, 2-meters
from other persons, at all times.
3. The Employee must observe the prescribed sanitation and disinfection procedure upon entry and
exit of the work area, and at practicable times during work hours.

4. The Employee must observe the prescribed protocols of wearing PPEs and social distancing in
Company-provided shuttles.

5. The Employee must disclose his/her pandemic-infection (e.g. COVID-19) positive or suspected
status/condition to a Company health officer.

6. The Employee must observe the prescribed self-quarantine protocol for the prescribed period.

7. The Employee must fully cooperate with providing contact tracing documentation and/or
declarations.

8. The Employee must fully cooperate with and volunteer truthful information for contact tracing
documentation and/or declarations.

9. The Employee must submit to prescribed pandemic-infections tests (e.g. RT-PCR testing) if
he/she is required to do so.

10. The health and safety officer must submit the prescribed report to the concerned governmental
agency (e.g. Department of Health, Department of Labor and Employment, etc.) within the
mandated period.

11. The Employee must observe all the health and safety protocols prescribed by the local
government units having jurisdiction in their workplace.

B. OFFENSES TO COVID-19 VIRUS PROTOCOLS

The following Schedule of Offenses to the Covid-19 Protocols are to be implemented by each and all
sectors of the Company accordingly:
