We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position

of Head of Application Engineering for Southeast Asia & Pacific.

The company offers a comprehensive range of products, technical consultation, system design, installation, service, training, and educational
equipment for various industries. This company is rapidly growing its operations in Thailand.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership for regional Application Engineering teams

• Take full accountability for the teams’ performance, ensuring excellent customer support and assistance to Sales Engineers
• Encourage a proactive sales approach within the team to achieve significant growth in Electric Automation
• Ensure adherence to processes and principles across the entire team and among different countries
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Foster collaboration within sales clusters to optimise cooperation in a diverse multinational environment
• Contribute to the strategy of Technical Sales and Operations to accomplish set goals
• Establish a framework that promotes team spirit within the team, overcoming language and cultural barriers
• Recruit, develop, and train colleagues  to fully leverage their potential
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Technical Sales & Operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering;  MBA/EMBA or equivalent would be advantageous

• At least 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation
• Minimum of 4 years in a leadership/management role with project management responsibilities
• Fluent communication in written and spoken English
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
• Self-driven and motivated
• Ability to work under pressure
