The Code of Hammurabi: King Hammurabi of Babylon created the Code of Hammurabi, a set
of laws that governed the behavior of his citizens. This code is considered one of the earliest

The Persian Empire: The Persian Empire, under the rule of Cyrus the Great, expanded the
boundaries of the known world. They introduced many cultural and technological advancements
