Wednesday 20th December – Last
day of Autumn Term This last edition of Snippets for 2017, gives me an opportunity to
reflect upon the past term. So much has happened across the school.
Thursday 21st December –
Monday 1st January 2018 – Our Nursery children have really settled in and are proving to be

After School Sports Club Sign Up
Pupils can now sign up for After School Sports Clubs, reply slips need to be handed into the school post box no
later than Monday, 8th January.
Your child will receive a confirmation slip if they have been given space in a club. Clubs are based on a first
come first served basis. Clubs will restart on the Tuesday, 9th January 2018.

Year 5 - Spanish Day


On Tuesday, Year 5 held a Spanish Day to round off our topic on Spain. We had a Spanish lesson, learnt about
Spanish football players, made Spanish food and drink and held a party in the hall. From all of Year 5, we wish
you a ‘Merry Christmas’ or ‘Feliz Navidad!’

Nursery
On Friday 15th December, AM & PM
Nursery held their annual Christmas
performance for their families. All children
took part and had a fantastic time. They
were able to showcase their singing,
movement and memory skills.

Carols by Candlelight
Another very successful Carols by Candlelight concert took place yesterday evening. Mrs Bright, our fantastic
music teacher, conducted our very talented choir as well as an extremely enthusiastic audience in a repertoire of
festive favourites. Thank you to everybody who attended.
