Resolution "Effects of cultural change in the professions"

a) What are the salient aspects of the dimensions of cultural change that
have been mentioned?
Cultures have global, national, and local dimensions; each one of them has
certain norms of behavior and ways of acting that are accepted by society.
Among the main aspects of cultural change are the following:
1. Traditional shapes and modernity
2. Migration and ethical-cultural problems
3. Technologies and ethical-social repercussions

b) Could you say which are the ones that have most affected the modern
development of professions and professional behavior?
Among those that affect the most, the use of technologies and the ethical-
social repercussions that this entails stand out, given that technology plays
a fundamental role in today's culture and consequently in the professions and
in their actions, since it changes the environment or environment in which
you live, completely changing the way you work almost anywhere.

c) Do all cultural forms also change, as well as ethical and moral

behaviors when a social change occurs?
Ethical behaviors change and the ways of seeing things also, that is, every
time there is a social change, the ways of seeing the world evolve, the ideas
of everyone are modified in a positive or negative way, the definition of good
or bad becomes relative.

d) What things facilitate or hinder intercultural coexistence?

The difference of beliefs, values, and customs. When a person or a group of
people have different beliefs, it is easy to have difficulties to carry out an
action which involves different points of view, especially ethical or moral. This
can lead to differences in ideas and opinions and generate conflicts in
decision making.
