Briefly discuss the summary of God’s creation found in Genesis 1:
Day 1 – God created light and separates it from darkness. (v1-5)
Day 2 – God created the sky. (v6-8)
Day 3 – God created land, seas, and plants. (v9-13)
Day 4 – God created sun, moon, and stars. (v14-19)
Day 5 – God created fish and birds. (v20-23)
Day 6 – God created animals and man. (v24-31)
On the board, ask students to draw any of God’s creation and let them describe
their drawings.
Introduce the song “I Am Special” (to the tune of Frere Jacques)
Read the summary of the Creation of Man from Genesis 2.
 Emphasize that God made man from clay from the ground and He
formed and breathed on it and it became alive.
