The session is small in size, so only 15-20 students can attend a given session.

DESCRIBE the session in such a way that you can describe it to someone else. Include any
relevant details concerning what happened. Make sure to be specific.
REFLECT on the session. How did it make you feel? Describe relevant feelings concerning your
experience. Was the mindfulness section what you expected? Was it helpful? Was
ANALYZE your meditation session. Based on your experience in the session and the script
provided, which form of meditation would this be? Was the session helpful? Was it effective?

CHOOSE one of the following options to complete. Include a separate APA formatted
reference sheet with your work.
OPTION Propose your project as a quest unit. Can you connect mindfulness to another INDIVIDUAL OR
E course? Consult with your teacher to do this. GROUP
RESEARCH, CREATE & PRESENT ONE of the therapies or stress reduction techniques
reviewed in this paper. These therapies include (1) mindfulness-based stress reduction; (2)
mindfulness-based cognitive therapy; (3) mindfulness-based eating awareness training; (4)
dialectical behaviour therapy; (5) acceptance and commitment therapy.
• Your presentation must use proper academic sources. So make sure to include an APA
FORMATTED reference page.
• Your presentation must go beyond information from the research paper. This means
you will be the EXPERT on this form of therapy for our class. Make sure to define any
keywords which may not be familiar to your classmates or your teacher.
FORMAT: Any format could be used as long as engaging and allows for visuals. You could
create a slide presentation with speaker notes; a documentary; a magazine article, etc.
