Chapter III

METHODOLOGY

This chapter reveals the methods of research to be employed by the researcher in

conducting the study which includes the research design, population of the study, research

instrument and its development establishing its validity and reliability, data gathering

procedures, and the appropriate statistical treatment of data.

RESEARCH DESIGN

A quantitative method approach was utilized in this study wherein the researchers are

going to provide questionnaires to gather information about “Survey & Research on Mobile

terminals in Classroom Teaching” Also researchers make use of the Quantitative approach to

emphasize objective measurement and statistical analysis of the data obtained in the survey

questionnaire.

RESEARCH LOCALE

This research will be conducted as Sta. Monica High School – Senior High Building,

where the respondents are studying. Located at barangay Sta. Monica Puerto Princesa City

Palawan. Given that the study focused on Survey & Research on Mobile terminals in Classroom

Teaching.
POPULATION OF THE STUDY

Grade 12 students of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) block

1,2 and 3 were chosen by the researchers as the respondents of this study

DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE

A questionnaire was administered to determine students respondents’ perception in the

Survey & Research on Mobile terminals in Classroom Teaching. Forty-five students took the

said questionnaire.

The researcher’ Research teacher gave a permission letter for the administration of the

questionnaire. The questionnaire was give to Grade 12 STEM students block 1,2 and 3 who were

enrolled for the S.Y 2022-2023. The researcher personally administered the questionnaire to

secure the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.

STATISTICAL TREANTMENT

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

The researcher developed a 3 parted survey questionnaire checklist as the main

instrument of the study:

 Part 1 used to collect the details regarding the profile of the respondents; Part 2 is to

collect details regarding the faith of the students and part 3 is composed of survey questionnaire

that focus on the “Survey & Research on Mobile terminals in Classroom Teaching”

The instrument used in gathering data is a survey questionnaire. The researchers provide

the questionnaire that will be distributed to the respondents.
