IWE/IWT course, 14th Batch Standard Route - Admission Notification

(Hybrid learning: 80%Online classes + 20% Contact classes + Practicals/Lab)

October 2023 – August 2024

Eligibility:
Minimum qualification for the IWE course is a degree in Engineering (BE or Equivalent) and
the desirable qualification is 2+ years of experience in any manufacturing industry with
welding as a significant component. Minimum qualification for the IWT course is a diploma in
Engineering with 2+ years of experience in welding.

Application Procedure:
Scanned copies of the following documents have to be sent by email in
the following order to cornerstoneiwe14@gmail.com
1. Filled in application form (download from our website www.cornerstoneacad.com)
2. SSC i.e 10th class certificate (for Date of birth)
3. HSLC i.e 12th class certificate (Not mandatory for IWT candidate)
4. BE degree certificate for IWE along with consolidated marksheet (BE degree through
distance learning mode will not be acceptable) & Diploma in Engineering along with
consolidated marksheet for IWT candidates.
5. M.E, PhD (if applicable)
6. Experience certificates if any
7. After examining the above documents, if found suitable for the course, we will send an
admission offer to IWE 14th batch (We may not be able to offer admission to all
applicants).
8. After receipt of our admission offer mail, you can pay the registration fee which is non-
refundable (Bank account details given below under course fee and payment schedule
section)
9. Upon receipt of registration fee (Bank transfer receipt), we will send admission
confirmation mail.
10. Final eligibility determination & allotment of Registration No. will be done by
ANB (Authorised Nominated Body) as per IIW-IAB rule for Access Condition.

NOTE: Kindly send in a single PDF file and in order (Eg: Application form, 10th
certificate, 12th certificate, BE degree, consolidated marksheet, M.E/PhD if
applicable and followed by experience certificates…etc).
If the application is not sent as per the above mentioned procedure or part of
the application is left vacant without filling, the candidates application may not
be processed for selection.

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: 20-09-2023

Conduct of Classes:
Dates: October 18th (Wednesday) 2023 to August 8th (Thursday) 2024 (42 weeks)

Wednesday 7.30PM - 11.00 PM IST 3 hours per day, 5 days a week

to Sunday Total: 444 Hrs of Theory online classes.

Extra classes/ internal tests/ discussions on assignments will be arranged on Sundays,

Mondays and Tuesdays as and when necessary. Prior notice will be given about these extra
classes. Students are requested to keep themselves flexible.

 Classes will be conducted online by the faculty who will also provide the Power points
after the completion of the class for the students reference. Running notes to be taken
by the students during the lectures.
 Doubts can be clarified in the class / by email / WhatsApp / phone call.
 Students need to arrange for themselves a laptop, audio gadgets and a stable internet
connection.
 Internal tests will be held and Q&A will be discussed during special classes.
 Minimum of 90% Attendance is mandatory to appear for the final examination.
Students are expected to keep their videos on and respond actively to the
questions/discussions. All sessions will be recorded.

1. Cornerstone will not accept deduction of TDS amount on the above mentioned fees.
