MINUTES OF THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL OF ADLAWAN, VALENCIA, BOHOL
ON THE 28th DAY OF APRIL 2017 AT ADLAWAN MULTIPURPOSE HALL.

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by the presiding officer Barangay Captain Maxilindo Magan at 2:00 in the afternoon,
followed by an invocation led by the Barangay Kagawad Renato Maestre.
ROLL CALL AND DECLARATION OF QUORUM:
The Barangay Secretary called the roll and all members were present. The Chair then declared the existence of quorum.
READING OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES:
There being no corrections, on motion of Kag. Tagas duly seconded by Kag. Japos, the minutes of the previous meeting was
adopted.
PRESIDING OFFICER’S TIME:
 PSUDs were invited last session whereas activities to be conducted for them was discussed. Mr. Jesus Tagaro motioned
that they will have monthly meeting every last Saturday of the Month starting this May 2017 with a corresponding
activity every meeting, which was seconded en masse. First activity to be done this May 26, 2017 is a drug symposium
to be attended by the PSUDs and their families @ 7PM. The following month’s activity which is June is Zumba dance
not just for the PSUDs but for everyone. They should also conduct tree planting activity on their backyard. On the
month of July 2017, the sports activity will start so as in preparation for the upcoming fiesta celebration. PSUDs will be
prioritized for basketball team-ups. Grades of the PSUDs was read by the barangay captain. Those in low risk will be
subject for community based rehabilitation while those in moderate risk asked if they could just be rehabilitated in the
community as their grades are not high enough though they were in moderate risk. Those who can comply with all the
activity planned for them have a possibility to avail livelihood program from the government.
 Unappropriated funds from the general fund surplus will be budgeted for BADAC activities.
ADJOURNMENT AND CLOSING PRAYER:
With no other matters to discuss, the session was adjourned at 3:45 in the afternoon on motion of Kag. Gallogo duly
seconded by Kag. Bugas, with a closing prayer led by Barangay Kagawad Renato Maestre.
