MINUTES OF THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BARANGAY ANTI DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL OF ADLAWAN, VALENCIA, BOHOL ON
THE 28th DAY OF MARCH 2017 AT ADLAWAN BARANGAY OFFICE.

CALL TO ORDER:
The session was called to order by the presiding officer Barangay Captain Maxilindo Magan at 2:00 in the afternoon, followed
by an invocation led by the Kagawad Renato Maestre.
ROLL CALL AND DECLARATION OF QUORUM:
The Barangay Secretary called the roll and all members were present. The Chair then declared the existence of quorum.
PRESIDING OFFICER’S TIME:
 Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council Chairperson asked the barangay Chief Tanod if there were reports about illegal
drug activities in the barangay. Chief Tanod Erwin Maestre reported that as of date, there were no cases about illegal
drug activities in the barangay but still, they are being vigilant especially on students who were boarding in Tagbilaran
and may bring illegal substances from the city. Aside from illegal drugs issue, all are being vigilant from the
kidnapping issues nowadays.
 Kagawad Tagas added that if someone would report about illegal drug issue, he or she be should be 100% sure about
the issue so that no innocent will be affected. Methamphetamine is not just the illegal drug substance involved on our
battle against drugs but also others substances like marijuana, pills and injectable drugs. There were reported
marijuana farmers back then and those personalities will be closely monitored.
 A drug symposium was planned not just for the PSUDs but also for everyone to be aware of the bad health factors
illegal drug abuse can cause to anyone.

ADJOURNMENT AND CLOSING PRAYER:

With no other matters to discuss, the session was adjourned at 4:15 in the afternoon on motion of Kag. Japos duly
seconded by Kag. Dadang, with a closing prayer led by Barangay Kagawad Desideria Bugas.
