1. Differentiate Negligence from Malpractice

Negligence- Negligence is a deviation from the standard behavior or actions that an average, prudent person would use
in a similar situation.

Malpractice- Malpractice is a more specific term and addresses a professional standard of care. Malpractice, also known
as professional negligence, is a deviation from the standard of care that a reasonably prudent health-care professional
would use in a similar situation.

5. Nurse Steph is assigned in the surgical ward and is about to prepare a 16 year old client for Dilatation and Curretage.
Questions below pertain to this situation. Write T if the statement is correct and F if otherwise.

This act by the nurse is considered negligence.
