1. This Assessment Paper (AP) is to assess your performance on prepare recruitment and
employment requirements, perform Training Need Analysis (TNA), establish training
plan and prepare staff performance appraisal. Please complete the assignment below
within 14 days.
2. Carefully review the submission checklist and contact your resource person for
consultation. You must complete all steps satisfactorily within the time given.
3. Submit complete AP (in Softcopy PDF format). No mark will be given to late submission
hence will be given Not Yet Competent as result. Passing mark is 70%.

ASSESSMENT QUESTION:
You are a Facility Manager for Kepuncak Facility Management Sdn. Bhd specialising in
managing office buildings. You have been working with Kepuncak for almost 6 years. The
company has recently been awarded new contract managing a training centre in Petaling Jaya.
The site possession will be in the next 3 months. You need to source a site supervisor to assist
you in managing the new site.
Due to new job scope required by the contract, you are responsible to assist your Human
resource (HR) manager to fill in the vacancy for this project. You are considering the option
of new recruitment or choosing one of the existing employees in the company to fill the
vacancy of the critical position in your team. You need to present to the HR manager your
suggestion of the said matter.
You are required to present:
1) Processes involve for new recruitment
2) Processes involve for choosing existing employee
3) Training Need Analysis (TNA) assuming during the process of choosing the existing
employee, there are no suitable candidate for the post due to skill gap identified
4) Conclusion from your findings to support your suggestion to HR manager.
