Course title: Leadership Safety Training

Introduction

Supervisors and frontline leaders play a vital role in achieving and


maintaining safety standards in the workplace. They are key advocates in
promoting a culture in which safety is a priority and workplace injuries are
not acceptable.

Participants will participate in a workshop on key practices and principles


of health and safety at an operational level, the communication of
information and the application of risk management processes. These
skills will assist supervisors in creating and maintaining a safe workplace.

Objectives

Upon completion of the course it is expected that the participant should be


able to;

• Use communication to liaise with clients, team members and other


relevant parties
• Manage on-site safety
• Diagnose and solve routine and non-routine problems
• Apply leadership principles to the team

Captain Syarizal has Over 10 years of working experience in PETRONAS-


MISC vessel from downstream to upstream operating units with 8 years’
worth of training experience. He is then joining the Sapura Holding’s
vessel for offshore operation vast projects.
Became a Corporate Trainer and Skill Trainer since 2014 with proven
capability in delivering real performance improvement at the workplace,
individual & team levels in organisations. Capt. Syarizal also has his
expertise in Maritime, Offshore, Health and Safety management process
and strategy development for leaders and employees.
With superior ability in diagnosing performance issues, problems and
challenges across the value chain, whereby he is a highly skilled
facilitator; very adept at engaging people at every level and across
cultures with customised workshops.
