TCW Performance Task: Narration of Personal Experience of Globalization via

Video Presentation

Objective: To create an informative and engaging video presentation that effectively conveys
personal experiences related to globalization and its impacts.

Instructions:

1. Group Formation: Create a group consisting of 4-5 members. You have the autonomy to
form your own group and choose the members. Ensure that your group is formed and
confirmed by September 08, 2023. After this date, groups will be considered final, and no
changes can be made.

2. Conceptualization of Globalization Themes to be Featured: Start by selecting particular

aspects or themes of globalization that interests your group. Examples include goods and
cultural exchange, economic globalization, technological advancement, or social
interconnectedness to name few. Each group member must think of aligned personal
experiences related to the chosen globalization themes. These experiences can be travel,
encounters with diverse cultures, economic observations, or any personal stories that
connect to globalization.

3. Create an Outline: Collaboratively develop an outline for your video presentation. This
should include:

Introduction: Briefly introduce globalization (defining it using your own ideas) and
highlight the importance of this phenomenon
Personal Stories: Every member should share their personal experiences and
anecdotes related to globalization.
Analysis: Analyze how these personal experiences connect to the globalization
themes.
Impact: Discuss the broader impact of globalization on individuals and society (pros
and cons).
Conclusion: Summarize key points and insights (learning).

4. Develop a Script: Every group member should help on writing a script for the video
presentation. The script should include personal anecdotes, facts, and insights related to
globalization. Emphasize the importance of clear, concise, and engaging storytelling.

5. Visual Elements: Your group should plan the visual elements of your video presentation.
You may include relevant images, video clips, charts, and graphics that support the
messages that your group wants to convey and also the visual elements should be
complementary to the personal narratives and experiences of globalization.

6. Video Production: Use appropriate video recording equipment and software to record your
presentation. Cooperation of every member is highly encourage in order to efficiently
produce a quality output.The allowed duration for video presentation is 5-7 minutes. Ensure
that all group members have a speaking role in the video to provide diverse perspectives.

7. Final Video Submission: The deadline of the submission is on or before SEPTEMBER 13,
2023. Only the leader of the group shall upload the final copy of the video presentation in
the designated LMS Dropbox. Before uploading, rename the file using this format (TCW
Personal Experiences - Surname of all the group members)
