Description: The figure shows the process of the research study using the

input process, and output.

The input consists of the age, gender, and strand of the respondents.

The process is to tabulate and analyze the data using statistical tools

gathered from the students through survey questionnaire.

The output determined the Mental Health Status of Grade 12 students

in an Integrated Public National High School. Recommendations will be given

to the respondents of this research.

Research Question

1.What is the profile of the respondents as to gender?


2.What is the mental health status of the grade 12 in an Integrated National

High School?

3.Is there is a significant difference on the profile of the respondents of

mental health status of grade 12 students?

Hypothesis

1. There is no significant difference on the profile of the respondents of mental

health status of grade 12 students.

Scope and delimitation

This study focuses that student who reports symptoms of serve mental

health problems have about four times the risk of experiencing low academic

self- efficacy compared with those who report few and moderate symptoms of

Mental health problems. Specially, participants are the high school students of

Saguday National High School for School year 2022-2023.

Significant of the Study

The study is significant in determining the problem met by high school

students on the impact of mental health issues. The results of this study will

provide further knowledge and understanding not only to the students of

Saguday National High School, but to all students and teachers as well.

Moreover, this study will hopefully remind the students on how to deal on their

studies and daily activities or work. In addition, this study is significant to

students at Saguday National High School. Students- will know the impact of
mental health issues to their study and to avoid depression, anxiety etc.

Teachers -this can be springboard for them to create innovation, to help

students learning. Teachers can observe their students who are suffering

mental issues. Parents -this can help the parents to be aware of the needs of

their children. Future Research - this can be a basis for continuation of the

study.

Definition of terms

Illness-is a that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of

interest.

Mental Health-is includes our emotional, psychological, and social

wellbeing it affects how we think, feel, and acts as well.

Depression - is a mood disorder state of poor health or sickness, as in

I've had to miss a lot of work due to illness.

Health- a state of complete physical, mental and social well- being and

not merely the absence of disease and infirmity (WHO).

Anxiety-is a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness. It might cause you

to sweat, feel restless and tense, and have a rapid heartbeat. It can be a

normal reaction to stress.

Academic Achievement - the extent to which a student teacher or

institution has attained their short- or long-term educational goals.
