” Enhancing School Improvement Plan: A Strategic Planning, Review and

Realignment to BEDP, REDP, and DEDP”

In the realm of educational advancement, the significance of a well-crafted

roadmap cannot be overstated. It is within this context that the process of Strategic
Planning for the School Improvement Plan (SIP) and Annual Improvement Plan (AIP)
emerges as a vital catalyst for growth and progress. The act of strategic planning
empowers educational institutions to envision, shape, and realize their aspirations.
Anchored by the collective wisdom and dedication of educational stakeholders, strategic
planning offers a structured framework that guides an institution's evolution, ensuring
that each step forward is deliberate, purposeful, and aligned with broader educational
national goals in the Basic Educational Development Plan (BEDP), Regional Educational
Development Plan (REDP), Division Educational Development Plan (DEDP) with its
mantra DEPED Matatag.

The Ph.D. Educational Management and Ph.D. Resource Management students

of the Graduate Studies of Naga College Foundation Incorporated embarked on a
transformative journey in pursuit of academic excellence. Under the guidance of Dr.
Joretze S. Carandang, the subject of Strategic Planning and Management took center
stage, with a resounding theme, "Enhancing School Improvement Plan (SIP): A
Strategic Planning, Review, and Realignment to BEDP, REDP, and DEDP." This initiative

aimed to invigorate educational practices and elevate the standards of Tinanquihan
Primary School, located in Tinanquihan, Libmanan, Camarines Sur.

The objectives of the endeavor were succinctly delineated: first, to conduct a

thorough review of the existing Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) and School
Improvement Plan (SIP) of Tinanquihan Primary School (TPS); second, to propose
innovative strategies and interventions grounded in the findings from the review of the
school’s AIP and SIP; and third, to contribute to the formulation of a strong strategic
plan for the forthcoming school year.

The calendar marked August 12, 2023, as the pivotal day for this endeavor, and
the venue was none other than Tinanquihan Primary School itself. In preparation for
this groundbreaking event, meticulous planning was undertaken, resulting in the
formation of distinct working committees, each entrusted with a specific aspect of the
program's execution.
