“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

– African Proverb”

It is important to understand that going far and reaching the destination is not something that
could be caught up overnight. Of course, a lot of dedication and patience is needed to reach the goal.
Alongside, when we working in a team, we need to have quite a lot of people working together and each
of the people working in the team has got their own opinions, and they would be sincerely counted. It is
only when you give efforts together, you are able to make it big!

In realizing its endeavor of taking a great leap towards success, Gregoria de Jesus Elementary
School has revisit, realigned, and reassess its School Improvement Plan (SIP). By analyzing its current
condition via the effort and collaboration of the people who have the potential to contribute to the
improvement of the school, it is on its way to discovering the problems that hamper its growth in the
attainment of the Division standards. With the focus on the initial round of development of SIP, its
members examined important aspects in identifying its present condition, allowing members to
understand the institution’s potentials and weaknesses which directly contribute to its success, thus
revising then means and attitude of its people to achieve the goals, which is to come up with the
standards of growth and development.

With the records on hand, the School Planning Team (SPT) has the proper tool to be more
accurate and data-driven. SIP acquired facts from EBEIS, school forms, and reports, while the date which
needs factual and visible details were gained from discussions and personal contacts.

Internally, the teachers blew the relevant facts needed in the planning, and externally the
stakeholders, with the consideration of the barangay, and its public officials, maintained the school to
attain the facts outside the school premises.

The path to the school’s SIP is a collaboration and a concerted effort. There are many people
who analyzed and designed the programs and projects and those who prepared the implementation
process.

This document was realized through the collaborative efforts of the SPT and we are grateful also
to the following people who helped in building the blueprint, of this SIP.

The PTA, SSG, SGC, and Alumni officers for their wise and possible suggestions for the good of
the school and community;

The learners for their inspiration and motivation being the heart of our planning process;

The LGU and other private partners and stakeholders for the assurance of support and
commitment to share in the realization of the programs, activities, and projects; and

To the source of all wisdom and strength for guiding us through.

Our School Improvement Plan is on its way to the awareness of its purpose as it traverses to the
very core of education—to engage learners with the world within and around them and go farther and
beyond!
