Dear Parents and Carers

The Year 1 class have been given the opportunity to go to Legends Tennis Centre at Haileybury School on

Friday 17 June to participate in a tennis session with other local schools.

We have arranged for a coach using our Sports Premium Funding to take the children to Haileybury School for
the session which starts at 1.00pm after they have had their normal school lunch. Children will not need to bring
in their book bags this day but they will need a named water bottle. If your child usually has a packed lunch on a
Friday, could they bring this in a plastic/paper bag, for this day only, so that they can be thrown away afterwards
as we will not be returning to school to collect any bags.

Children will need to wear their PE kit and trainers to school on this morning.

Legends have advised parents are welcome to come along and watch as they have a viewing area. There is
parking by the second hockey pitch.

The children will need to be picked up from Legends Tennis Centre at 3.30pm. If your child is to be
collected by another parent in the case of lift sharing, please could you state which adult they will be
collected by on the slip below.
