HALO P installation manual


Thank you for purchasing the HALO P Smart air purifier from Erlab. This unit has been
manufactured by the Asian subsidiary of the French Erlab Group, Kunshan Erlab DFS
Co.. located in Kunshan city – Jiangsu Province - P.R. China.

In this manual we strive to give you as many details as possible to help you installing
smoothly the HALO P.

Where to install the HALO P?

Covering a floor surface up to 25-30 m2

VERY IMPORTANT!
The HALO P shall be located as close as possible to the center of an area of 25 to 30 m2.

Installation steps:
1- If there is a false ceiling , manage a hole of 893 x 593mm to insert later the HALO P
2- Fix the 4 anchors in the real ceiling
3- Attach the 4 metal cables with eye bolts to the anchors
4- Pull down the electrical cable and the RJ45 cable from the ceiling or wall (see picture)
4- Place the HALO P on a table just under where it shall be fixed In the ceiling or false ceiling
5- Connect the electrical cable and the RJ45 cable
6- Approach the HALO P to the area where it shall be installed
7- Fix the cables to the 4 eye bolts located on top of the HALO P
8- Adjust the HALO P at the suitable height (max. 3 m from floor)
9- If there is a false celing, insert the HALO P into the hole and close the gap with the metal
plate supplied.

Connection to a WIFI Router


We strongly recommend to connect the RJ45 cable to a WIFI router placed possibly
above the false ceiling . If you install several HALO P, they can all be connected to this
Router, possibly through switch if the number exceed 4 units. This WIFI Router will
allow you to connect to each HALO P using a mobile phone as a remote controller,
such as turn on/turn off the ventilation or just the LED alarm light.

IMPORTANT
Before installing the Router at the ceiling level, please change its IP address with a
computer into 192.169.0.xxx. Don’t use the same IP address as the one (s) of the HALO P
unit(s) , then set-up a WIFI signal on the Router.

of 893 x 593mm to insert the Halo

Remove the metal cover by unscrewing Insert the electrical cable and RJ45 through

Fix the electrical cable into the port then tighten it. Replace the metal cover again
Insert the RJ45 into the Ethernet port

Remark: If you don’t connect the Halo to your existing network, please don’t
change the default IP address of the unit.

Make sure the cables and anchors can hold at least a total weight of 38 kg
(including the HEPA or ULPA filter), and all the fasteners are secure!

Installation of Filters

Turn the below screws clockwise for Remove the old filter
