WORKPLACE OF NON-PERMANENT GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES IN BAMBAN

MUNICIPAL HALL: A BASIS FOR POLICY ENHANCEMENT

Abstract:

This thesis examines the morale and productivity of non-permanent government

employees in Bamban Municipal Hall, aiming to provide insights for policy

enhancements. The study employs a descriptive-quantitative research method, utilizing

statistical analyses such as frequency, mean, standard deviation, and Spearman Rho

correlation coefficient. The results reveal a high level of morale and productivity among

non-permanent government employees, with a significant positive relationship found

between the two factors.

In the first part of the study, data was collected using surveys and questionnaires to

assess the morale and productivity levels of non-permanent government employees in

Bamban Municipal Hall. The responses were analyzed quantitatively, employing

descriptive statistical measures and inferential statistics. The findings indicate that the

morale of non-permanent government employees is high, suggesting a positive attitude

and satisfaction within the workplace.

Furthermore, the productivity levels of non-permanent government employees were

assessed, and the results indicate a high level of productivity among this group. This

finding suggests that despite their non-permanent status, these employees are

motivated and engaged in their work, contributing effectively to the operations of the

Bamban Municipal Hall.

Importantly, the study establishes a significant positive relationship between the level

of morale and productivity of non-permanent government employees. The Spearman

Rho correlation coefficient reveals a strong association between these two factors,

indicating that higher morale is linked to increased productivity. This finding

emphasizes the importance of addressing and enhancing employee morale as a means

to improve overall productivity in the workplace.

Based on these findings, policy enhancements are recommended to sustain and further

enhance the morale and productivity of non-permanent government employees in

Bamban Municipal Hall. These policy enhancements may include initiatives focused on

employee recognition, communication, skill development, providing benefits and

incentives, promoting positive work environment and wellness programs, leadership

enhancement policy, and work schedule arrangement. By implementing these policy

changes, the organization can foster a positive work environment, boosting employee

morale and ultimately leading to increased productivity.

In conclusion, this thesis highlights the high level of morale and productivity among

non-permanent government employees in Bamban Municipal Hall. The significant

positive relationship between morale and productivity underscores the importance of

policy enhancements to maintain and further improve these factors. By implementing

targeted policies, the organization can create a supportive work environment that

fosters employee morale, resulting in increased productivity and overall organizational

success.
