Background of the Study

The Creative Spark Enterprise is a company established by a group of students from the
4th year level of BSBA Major in Operations Management at STI Batangas. The company's
product, the Pen Drive Fusion, was proposed by the students. The idea for the product was
inspired by their experiences in keeping important documents, not only for school but also
for personal use.

Based on their research, flash drives are portable and can store a large amount of data.
This makes them a convenient way to carry important files with you wherever you go. The
students also wanted to create a product that would be easy to use and would provide
users with a variety of benefits.

The Pendrive Fusion is a multifunctional writing and data storage device that can be used in
two different ways. It can be used as a traditional flash drive, or it can be used as a pen.
The pen function allows users to write notes or sign documents directly on the drive.

The Pendrive Fusion is a unique product that offers a variety of benefits to users. It is
portable, easy to use, and has a variety of functions. The students of Creative Spark
Enterprise are confident that the Pendrive Fusion will be a valuable tool for people who
need to store and manage important files.

a. Description of the product/service-The Pen Drive is a 2-in-1 device that combines


the functionality of a flash drive and a ballpoint pen. It has a large storage capacity,
allowing users to store important documents, presentations, and media files on the
go. The Pen Drive is also easy to use, with plug-and-play functionality that makes it
easy to transfer files between computers and devices. The Pen Drive is available in
a variety of storage capacities, from 8GB to 1TB. It is made of durable materials that
can withstand every day wear and tear. The Pen Drive is also backed by a one-year
warranty. The students who created the Pen Drive have access to the files stored on
the drive. This is to ensure that users' files are backed up in case the drive is lost or
destroyed. However, users can protect their privacy by providing the email and
password that they used to create the Pen Drive.
b. Organizational Type- The Creative Spark Enterprise is a partnership, which is a
type of business organization owned by the group of 4th year BSBA Students. It is a
private sector business, which means that it is owned and operated by individuals or
companies, rather than by the government. The Creative Spark Enterprise strives to
provide high-quality pen drives at a competitive price, while also meeting the needs
of its customers. is a manufacturing business, which means that it transforms raw
materials into finished products. In the case of pen drives, the raw materials are
plastic, metal, and electronic components. These materials are then assembled into
finished pen drives that are ready to be sold to consumers.
c. Organizational Form- Creative Spark Enterprise is a general partnership formed by
five parties who have agreed to manage and operate a business and share its
profits. The partnership is governed by a written partnership agreement that specifies
the rights and responsibilities of the partners. All partners have equal ownership of
the business and are jointly and severally liable for its debts and obligations. This
means that each partner is personally liable for the debts of the partnership, even if
they were not involved in incurring the debt. The partnership can be terminated by
any partner giving the other partners written notice of termination. The profits of the
business will be shared equally between the partners.

Significance of the Study

The significance of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of selling a Pen Drive that is both
a flash drive and a ballpoint pen. This study will help to determine the market demand for
such a product, as well as the costs involved in production and marketing. The findings of
this study will be beneficial to the following:

Future researchers: The study findings can provide valuable insights into the development
of new and innovative products that combine the functionality of a flash drive and a pen.

To Customers- The study will provide consumers with information about the Pen Drive,
such as its features, benefits, and price. This information could help consumers to decide if
the Pen Drive is a good fit for their needs.

To Business Owners- The study will provide other entrepreneurs with information about
the market demand for a Pen Drive and the costs involved in production and marketing.
This information could be helpful to other entrepreneurs who are considering developing a
similar product.

To Government Agencies-The study will help government agencies to understand the role

Background of the Study

Ampalaya, also known as bitter melon or bitter gourd, is a tropical vegetable that is known
for its bitter taste. However, it is also a highly nutritious vegetable that is packed with
vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Ampalaya has been shown to have a number of health
benefits, including lowering blood sugar levels, reducing cholesterol levels, and boosting
the immune system.

Ice cream is a popular dessert that is enjoyed by people of all ages. It is typically made with
milk, cream, sugar, and flavorings. However, there are also a number of ice cream flavors
that are made with fruits and vegetables.

The TROPICAL TEAM is a group of students from the 4th year level of BSBA Major in
Operations Management at STI Batangas who are passionate about creating healthy and
delicious food products. They believe that ampalaya ice cream is a unique and innovative
product that has the potential to appeal to a wide range of consumers.

The product, named BITTER-SWEET SYMPHONY, is made with fresh ampalaya, milk,
cream, sugar, and natural flavors. The ampalaya is carefully selected and processed to
minimize its bitterness. The other ingredients are then added to create a rich and creamy
ice cream with a subtle bitterness that is balanced by the sweetness of the sugar and other
flavors.

a. Description of the product/service- Bittersweet Symphony is an Ice Cream made


From Ampalaya and located around Batangas City. Ampalaya, known for its
abundant health benefits, becomes the heart and soul of Bitter-Sweet Symphony.
This green gem is a powerhouse of nutrients, offering a rich source of vitamins and
minerals that promote well-being. With each indulgent scoop, you savor the
goodness of ampalaya, knowing that you're nourishing your body while satisfying
your sweet cravings. A unique and innovative ice cream that combines the
deliciousness of ice cream with the health benefits of ampalaya. Made with fresh
ampalaya, milk, cream, sugar, and natural flavors, BITTER-SWEET SYMPHONY is
a rich and creamy ice cream with a subtle bitterness that is balanced by the
sweetness of the sugar and other flavors. Ampalaya is a highly nutritious vegetable

Team is driven by the entrepreneurial spirit of its individual partners, each
contributing their skills and expertise to create a thriving enterprise. The Tropical
Team's organizational type as a private partnership underscores its commitment to
entrepreneurial innovation, health-consciousness, and customer satisfaction. By
harnessing the collective talents and passions of its partners, this privately-owned
venture aims to carve a niche in the competitive world of ice cream production, all
while staying true to its core values and vision.

c. Organizational Form – The Tropical Team is a partnership formed by five parties,


who have agreed to manage and operate a business to share its profits. The choice
of a partnership as the organizational structure for The Tropical Team is a strategic
one. Partnerships allow for shared ownership and decision-making, drawing on the
diverse strengths and perspectives of each partner. This collaborative approach
fosters innovation and creativity, essential elements in the competitive ice cream
market. Within this organizational framework, roles and responsibilities are
distributed among the partners, reflecting their individual skills and interests. All
partnerships have equal ownership of the business and are liable for the obligations.
The individuals are personally responsible for the debts the partnership takes on.
The specifics of profit sharing will almost certainly be laid out in writing in a
partnership agreement.

Background of the Study

JUICY CREATIONS is a beverage provider founded in 2023 by a group of fourth-year


students from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) major in
Operations Management at STI College Batangas. The business was established out of the
founders' belief that health is wealth, and their desire to create a product that would quench
the thirst and heat of people in the Philippines while also providing them with a healthy and
refreshing drink.

The company's products are made with pure and natural juice of fruit, plus sinkers made
from the same juice. The sinkers are made by freezing the juices into small, bite-sized
pieces. When the drinks are consumed, the sinkers slowly melt, adding a refreshing and
chewy texture to the drink.

The company's products are available in the flavor of Buko. JUICY CREATIONS is
committed to providing its customers with healthy and refreshing drinks that are also
affordable.

In addition to its commitment to health and affordability, JUICY CREATIONS is also


committed to sustainability. The company uses recycled materials in its packaging, and it is
working to reduce its environmental impact.

a. Description of the product/service – Coco Float is made from its main ingredient,
Coconut. The coconut juice derived from young coconuts is a natural and hydrating
beverage. Packed with essential nutrients like electrolytes, vitamin C, dietary fiber, and
antioxidants, it promotes hydration, supports the immune system, aids digestion, and offers
a mild natural sweetness. In addition to its juice, shredded coconut is also included, as it is
versatile and can enhance the flavor and texture of various dishes and desserts. And to
elevate the beverage, gulaman will be added as it brings a delightful jelly-like texture, subtle
flavor enhancement, variety, and visual appeal to the drink. It complements the existing
ingredients and adds a unique touch, making Coco Float even more appealing to health-
conscious consumers. Through this, the researchers have combined ingredients with
numerous health benefits for consumers. While many beverages tend to be overly sweet
and unhealthy, Coco Float prioritizes better health, attracting health-conscious consumers.
b. Organizational Type – Juicy Creations is a privately-owned company operating in the
private sector. It is not under government control and is driven by individual entrepreneurs
who share a vision of providing a healthier alternative to the commonly found unhealthy
floats in fast food establishments. The company's primary focus is on delivering a product
that aligns with health-conscious consumer preferences while also aiming to generate a
profit. Juicy Creations takes a hands-on approach to production, engaging in manual
manufacturing processes. The process begins with the careful selection and collection of
high-quality ingredients and materials needed for crafting CocoFloat. The company
oversees the entire production process internally, from ingredient preparation to final
assembly, ensuring quality and consistency throughout. Juicy Creations seeks to cater to
the growing demand for nutritious and delicious options in the beverage market. The
company's dedication to producing a product that prioritizes health benefits is expected to

individuals jointly own, manage, and run the company. They share both responsibilities and
rewards equally, fostering a sense of commitment and accountability. Each partner is
personally liable for the company's obligations, emphasizing trust and cooperation. Profits
are distributed fairly as per their partnership agreement. This partnership leverages the
combined skills, resources, and expertise of the five partners for the successful creation
and marketing of Coco Float, driving Juicy Creations' growth and success.
