WEEKLY NARRATIVE REPORT

Name of School/Community: N/A Date: June 03, 2023

Via Google Meet again, we had our second meeting on June 3, 2023. The following

session's SWOT analysis, which stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats,

is the task that has been handed to us. This task is very familiar to me because I already did it

in our NSTP when I was a first-year college student. The SWOT analysis revolves around the

issues that we have in our respective communities.

When I heard that it would be about issues in our community, I already had an idea of what

my issue was. The issue that my community faces is the long, black estero. I made a SWOT

analysis of the estero. Its strength is that esteros is used as a drainage canal in populated

districts; however, its weakness is that clean-up drives are only done when the barangay

members see them as needed. For opportunity, members of different barangays collaborate

with each other to hold clean-up drives around the estero, and for threats, it emits a foul odor

and is prone to mosquitoes and bacteria. In doing this SWOT analysis, I have become more

aware of the issues that are ongoing in my community. SWOT analysis can be a big help when

it comes to delivering some programs that are in dire need of accreditation. Furthermore,

illustrating SWOT in a more appealing way can lead people to volunteer to help solve the issues

in your SWOT.
